Business and warehouse premises of the DM cosmetic chain will inhibit the renovated business and warehouse premises of the former fork-lift factory in the Litostroj industrial complex.
The generic office building is separated from the warehouse building by a long narrow space in between, transformed into a reflected patio. This is where a deformed reflection of the façade “superstudio” grid, surrounding the office building, appears on the reflective wall of the warehouse building across the patio’s hanging garden. Unchanging, abstract grid, completely disguising the proportion of the building, becomes the background for the changing events within and around the building. The grid, being neutral, intensifies the perception of changes: a break on the patio, work in the office, at day and night, seasonal changes in nature around the building. Even the slightest change becomes noticeable thanks to the neutral character of the grid.
