Exhibition “History of the Future – Case study Bled” proposed by the architecture students of Prof. Jurij Sadar’s design studio
You are cordially invited to the student architectural exhibition ‘History of the Future – Case study Bled’ in the main lobby of the Bled Festival Hall. The projects on display were created by architecture students of the Faculty of Architecture, University of Ljubljana. Students have proposed and designed projects that comply with the latest urban development guidelines, in particular the construction of the north and the newly envisaged south bypass roads.
The exhibition will be on display by August 25th, 2019.
Boštjan Vuga is one of one hundred architects featured in the project One Object. 100 Architects. And Inspiration.
Latvian designer Anna Butele explores the notion of inspiration in a levitating installation: 100 works materialize from a collaborative experimental project. Drawings, graphics, photographs, and models by renowned architects from 28 countries form a chain—each contribution is a reaction inspired by the previous work.
AEDES Gallery in Berlin, Germany is hosting an exhibition of the project in parallel to the upcoming publication of the book. The opening ceremony of the exhibition will take place on Friday, August 16 at 6:30 pm.
Construction drone footage of Sports Hall shows the project is evolving at high speed
An obsession with perspective isn’t anything new to architecture, but increasingly, there’s a new point of view that’s changing our views of real estate, design and buildings. Drone videos are offering a clearer view of a relatively complex and crowded building site and can only help us, architects, organizers and planners.
Video shows the early stages of construction of the Sports Hall Extension. This is our second project out of three in the University Campus in Gent, Belgium.
More photos and videos coming in the future.
WE MOVED! Sadar+Vuga W1
In the wake of substantial 2019 growth, Sadar+Vuga is proud to announce that we have just moved to a new office location, to an iconic building from the 1930ies, in the very heart of Ljubljana. We are thrilled to work in a new kind of workspace — one that is filled with daylight, offers sweeping views of Ljubljana’s main historical attractions and allows us to add more facilities to serve our clients better.
Our new office address is:
Wolfova 1, 1000 Ljubljana – SI
Our office/fax number will remain the same as +386 1 430 56 64.
We look forward to seeing you and we thank everyone for their support through the years and with the move.
Introducing! Neighbourhood of twin houses Sinja Gorica – Our response to Slovenian dream home
Where is the twist when dealing with suburban living, generic location, generic brief and what people like?
We found an answer in designing the houses as »dreams« of a young, urban family inspired by well-known imagery and patterns of suburbia – hayracks, outbuildings, workshop canopies and self-made facades. Playing with them, changing them and giving them a completely new meaning. Nothing is completely new or in excess, but the houses are still unique.
Vita Grmovšek for Ambienti TV Show on King’s House renovation for which SADAR+VUGA received the prize for Plečnik Medal nomination in 2018
The complex renovation of the King’s House is conceived as a place of socializing with a superb culinary experience and all the comforts of a modern clubhouse. It focuses on the architectural qualities of the 1930ies aristocratic mansion with the aim to become the most prestigious golf clubhouse in the region.
Enjoy the clip and stay tuned for news about future projects.
