Boštjan Vuga will present the office’s latest projects and its recent focus on re-use in two lectures within a monographic conference organised by the Chamber of architecture Trieste on Friday, March 10th.

SADAR+VUGA selected to participate at Chicago Architecture Biennial
This year’s Biennial will showcase the diversity of work from around the world to examine the underpinnings of the resurgence of historical interest. Titled “Make New History,” this second edition of the Biennial will focus on the efforts—across registers of building and discursive production—of contemporary architects to align their work with versions of history. Karlsruher Institut für Technologie KIT invited six architects from Slovenia to participate in a series of lectures titled Luscious Lustrous Ljubljana. Boštjan Vuga will conclude the series today with the lecture Resue: Two Construction Sites.
Boštjan Vuga contributes to the commemoration of Jože Plečnik on national television
Year 2017 marks 145 years since Plečnik’s birth and 60 years since his death. The greatest Slovenian architect was commemorated on the national television by architects and architectural historians Damjan Prelovšek, Janez Koželj, Andrej Hrausky and Boštjan Vuga. Follow this link to watch the clip.
Slovenska Boulevard nominated for the Mies van der Rohe Award 2017
European Commission and Fundació Mies van der Rohe announced the list of nominees for the EU Mies Award 2017 and we are pleased to announce that Slovenska Boulevard is included in the prestigious selection. The project was developed in collaboration with Dekleva Gregorič arhitekti, Katušić Kocbek arhitekti, Scapelab and Studio Krištof.

SADAR+VUGA, HHF Architects and local consultant Archicon started to work on their 1st prize winning proposal for the Adaptation and Reconstruction of Dom Revolucije in Nikšić, Montenegro. The proposal takes the existing architecture of Slovenian architect Marko Mušič as a starting point and with pragmatic interventions reinvents it into a new type of urban space.
