The Urbanje housing complex brings together the advantages of the urban environment in access, maintenance and security, on the one hand, and of the natural environment in cohabitation with nature and the changing seasons, on the other.

The housing complex is laid like a carpet onto the existing topography, whereby the natural features such as valleys, slopes and sinkholes will be retained. The landscape design emulates the natural greenery of the surrounding area and envisage, besides grassed areas, also lush greenery on the common green surfaces.

Housing buildings show modern design and integrate all the latest findings in the field of economical use of energy. Living areas enjoy large glass surfaces and open onto sun-filled terraces with best views of the surroundings; sleeping areas are usually situated on the first floor and thereby sensibly set apart from the living area.

An important part of the housing complex is also common green and public surfaces. These represent the socializing area for the young at play as well as the meeting place for the adults. The common surfaces includes parking spaces for guests, a playground for children, a paved public surface-square, a panoramic walkway as well a path with islets for sitting that will provide a connection with the commercial building.
