| This November, Sadar + Vuga commemorates 15 years since the bureaus establishment with a monograph published by Hatje Cantz Verlag. Excellent editorial work was carried out by Ilka Ruby and Andreas. In the introduction, the editors outline the past 15 years of the bureau, not the projects themselves, but the primarily ideas, tendencies, impacts, challenges and other things that lead the bureau and affected it in the last decade and a half. A Review, a central part of the book is nothing more than a transcript of a conversation between the editors and five architects Simon Hartmann, Mark Lee, Jörg Leeser, Jacob van Rijs, and Philip Ursprung. This conversation, which was held this April in MAO, was the sort of feedback on Sadar + Vuga architecture, that combines critical acuity and collegial empathy. |
